On Your Marks:

In Design & Technology it is essential to progression and learning that you can correctly use and apply a bank of key technical words.

What does the key word ERGONOMICS mean?

How does it relate to PRODUCT DESIGN?

Main Task:

With KEY LANGUAGE in mind link the following ERGONOMICS key words to examples of products that currently exist.

Explain your link.

(Be sure that you know what this words mean- use www.technologystudent.com  to help if you are unsure)

E.g. Smooth -The surface of a park bench needs to be SMOOTH because of the numbers of people who will use it.  If the surface of the material (wood) is not SMOOTH then it could be uncomfortable or could injure people or damage their clothing.
