We are very excited about our trip to tomorrow. Pupils will be writing short stories inspired by an exhibition of Charles II’s original artwork. We are grateful to for their support.

To learn your key words and complete the below exam questions:

 

  1.  Give two reasons why people take part in lotteries? (2marks)
  2. ‘All religious believers should help the poor’. Do you agree? (3 marks)
  3. Explain why some religious believers think that there is nothing wrong with being rich. Refer to religious beliefs in your answer.(4marks)
  4. Explain the difference between inheritance and earnings. (4 marks)

       1.5 )‘Money should be used responsibly and not wasted’.  Do you agree? Give reasons for your answer, showing you have thought about more than one point of view.  Refer to religious arguments in your answer (6 marks)

 

A successful homework task will…

 

  • Homework should be hand written (as in the exam).
  • 3 mark questions will involve explain your opinion and include three points either all on one side to support your opinion or to show the other side.
  • 4 mark questions will show four explained reasons.
  • 6 mark questions will show three reasons for your opinion and use religion to as the alternative view to your opinion.
  • A variety of religious teachings must be used from both Christianity and at least one other religion.
  • To reach the top grades references to contemporary news events should also be used.
