At Harris Academy Greenwich we are committed to providing a wide range of clubs, before and after school, to broaden the horizons of our students and expose them to new skills, interests and possibly future passions from within. From football to Wei Chi to sewing, there are a wide range of clubs being offered by our teachers, students and external providers so that all students can find a club that they are not only passionate about but also broadens their life experiences.
In order to make the most of the clubs that are on offer, all KS3 students are expected to attend at least one hour of extracurricular activities per week. We ask that students commit themselves to a club for a half term in order to fully experience the benefits of that club and each half term students are given the opportunity to either continue with the club they’ve chosen or choose a new one. Attendance is monitored during the half term and SLT and Key Stage Leaders meet with students who are not engaging and restate expectations to help encourage them to take part. Parents receive the club schedule each half term to ensure they are provided the opportunity to also support our vision for our student’s personal development.
The list of clubs currently on offer is attached on the following links.
