Deadline: 13th June

Homework task:

 

Create a detailed tonal observational drawing of 3 objects that have a personal significance to you on A3 paper. Set up your still life so that the objects are touching/over-lapping.

 

A successful homework task will…

 

  • Be drawn in 2B or HB drawing pencil.
  • Include at least 7 different tones.
  • Will be drawn in proportion.
  • Will have accurate Ellipses if they appear on your objects
  • Have correctly angled straight lines
  • Have correct curvature on curves
  • Have all 3 objects touching/overlapping

 

Deadline: 27th June

Homework task:

 

Using the artists research writing frame, research the work of James Rosenquist. Then select from the examples of his work to make an accurate line drawing copy using a HB/2B pencil on A3 paper.

 

A successful homework task will…

 

  • Have all the research typed up ready for marking.
  • Include all the information that the artist research writing frame asks for.
  • Have the copy of Rosenquist’s work drawn in HB/2B pencil
  • Have the copy of Rosenquist’s work drawn in proportion.
  • Have the copy of Rosenquist’s work drawn with the correctly angled lines
  • Have the copy of Rosenquist’s work drawn with correct curvature on curves
