In-year Admissions
We are pleased that you are considering an in-year admission to Harris Academy Greenwich, and we welcome families who wish to join our ambitious and caring community.
In-year admissions follow a clear and transparent process to ensure every application is treated fairly, consistently and in line with our Admissions Policy.
To apply, please download and fill in this application form.
In-year admissions are for families seeking a place outside the usual Year 7 entry point, including those wishing to join a different year group or move schools part-way through the academic year. Before completing your application, we ask all families to read our Admissions Policy carefully, available both on our website and in hard copy from the academy office.
The application form allows us to understand your child’s circumstances so we can process your request accurately. This includes confirming whether your child is looked after or previously looked after, whether there is an exceptional medical or social need, or whether they have a sibling currently attending the academy. Where relevant, the appropriate supplementary forms - such as the Exceptional Medical or Social Need form or the Children of Staffform - must be submitted alongside the application.
If you are applying for a place outside your child's normal age group, you will also need to complete the Request for Admission Outside Normal Age Group form. Providing full and accurate information is essential, as it ensures we can consider your application promptly and in line with our oversubscription criteria.
Completed applications, along with all required documents including your child’s current school report, must be submitted to the Harris Academy Greenwich Admissions Committee. We are proud to welcome new families throughout the year and look forward to supporting your child as they join our community and begin their journey to Step into their Greatness.
