At Harris Greenwich, we value a strong partnership between home and school. Parents play an important role in helping their children thrive by promoting excellent attendance and punctuality, encouraging positive behaviour and routines, engaging with Academy communications, and supporting homework and revision. Attending progress evenings, monitoring Class Charts, and reinforcing effort, respect and responsibility at home all make a meaningful difference. When families and school work together with shared purpose, students are far more likely to succeed.

If your child has forgotten their Sparx password they need to speak to their maths teacher.
If your child has forgotten their Educake password they need to speak to any of their Educake teachers.
If your child has forgotten their Bedrock password they need to speak to Miss Turner.

 | Studybugs Studybugs is the app we use to communicate with you. It is also the way of reporting your child’s absence. It is therefore essential that you download the free Studybugs app, or register on the Studybugs website so that you receive all up to date information from school.

 | Class Charts Parent Up-to-the-minute information on your child's positive and negative behaviour points, including any assigned detentions. This app is a powerful tool for you to track how they’re doing, and to celebrate achievements.

 | My Child at School (MCAS) My Child At School gives you attendance and punctuality information, your child’s timetable and their reports.

Frequently asked questions
From the moment students arrive, our routines create clarity and purpose — uniform, equipment and prompt arrival ensure every child is ready to learn. Pupils must arrive through the gates a minimum of 5 minutes before their first lesson. The school day is longer than in many local schools, allowing more time in the classroom to acquire the knowledge, skills and understanding that lead to outstanding outcomes. Additionally, students benefit from a rich extracurricular programme that broadens their experiences and builds the cultural capital to succeed both in and beyond school.
- On Mondays, our school day starts at 8.55 am (year 7 have assembly from 8.25 am).
- On Tuesday – Thursday all students start at 8.25 am.
- On Friday, our school day starts at 8.55 am (year 8 have assembly from 8.25 am). Students then have 5 lessons, each being 60-65 minutes long. The school day finishes at 3.25 pm.
- On Thursdays, years 7-9 finish at 2.15 pm to give more time to do clubs. Year 10-13 will have different finish times during the year based on the amount of extra lessons and revision activities they have.
