Our sixth form is a welcoming, nurturing community where every student is known, valued, and supported to succeed. We create a strong sense of belonging for both internal and external pupils, celebrating individual identity, ambition, and character. Through genuine relationships, high expectations, and care, students grow in confidence and purpose—so much so that many say they never want to leave.

Here, we are unapologetically academic, and have the highest of expectations. It is why across our 125 students the average grade has been a B for many years now. Our aim is to prepare ambitious students for university, apprenticeships and sucessful careers. Nationally, disadvantaged students achieve at least 1/2 a grade lower than their more affluent peers. At HAGR, we are proud that there is no disadvantge gap, whatsoever. We put that down to outstanding teaching, and assessment.
