This page will be the place to come, when we start to prepare our new year 7s (September 2026 intake) for life at Harris Greenwich.

 

March 2026 update:

This is the start of an exciting journey, and we cannot wait to see all that your child will achieve over the next five years! At Harris Greenwich, our core values are simple but powerful: work hard, be kind, and take responsibility. Our goal is to ensure that your child is 2031 ready - equipped with the skills, knowledge, and character needed to succeed in a rapidly changing world.

 

What do I need to do now?

Nothing yet. Take a note of the dates below, and have a read of our transition guide. Over the coming weeks and months, we will share with you the remaining details, such as how homework works, so that you are fully aware of what to do, and what to expect.

Key dates:

• 23rd - 27th June: Getting to know us meeting. You will have your chance to sit down with a senior member of the Academy, for us to run you through our expectations, and to answer any of your questions (no matter how small!). We will describe what the transition process will look like, and hear any worries you have. Everyone will have a specific day and time, which we will inform you of in advance.
• 1st - 2nd July: All new year 7s will be at Harris Greenwich for transition and induction day.
• 7th September: The first day of the 2026/27 academic year.
