Student Ambassadors
Student Leadership
Our Sixth Form Leadership Team embodies the ambition, maturity and professionalism of HAGR’s senior students. As key ambassadors of the academy, they champion student voice, lead enrichment and societies, support key school events, and help shape an exceptional Sixth Form experience.
Appointed through a competitive application and interview process, our leaders take on responsibilities such as guiding prospective students, representing the academy at internal and external events, supporting younger year groups, and contributing to teaching and learning discussions. Their work builds confidence, influence and real world leadership skills preparing them brilliantly for university, apprenticeships and future careers.

Meet our Student Ambassadors
Lead Student Ambassador - I have the privilege of being the Lead Sixth Form Student Ambassador. I study Maths, Economics, and Psychology and being an ambassador along side my sudies has been such an amazing opportunity for me. As ambassadors we create events, mentor, and help Sixth Form and lower school students which brings everyone together, so we all feel like a community. This role has allowed me to gain so many skills; teamwork, time management, organisation, leadership and many more. I truly love this role as it has made me gain so much confidence and formed close bonds with staff and students in school. If you ever have the opportunity to become a student ambassador I would highly recommend it!
I'm currently studying Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Psychology and an EPQ, and I’m working towards a future career in Pharmacy. In my role as Sixth Form Deputy Ambassador, I love the flexibility and freedom of the role to work towards changes and take on different challenges. I have been able to contribute to the organisation of many different whole school and Sixth Form events such as our annual Quiz Night for students, and also speaking to prospective students and parents at Open Evenings. I believe this opportuntiy has helped me grow my teamwork skills and develop my planning and co-ordination. This year, I am looking forward to bringing more events to Sixth Form and helping students create a balance alongside academic studies and enrichment opportunities!
I'm in Year 12 studying A-Level Maths, Further Maths, Art and Spanish. As a student ambassador, my role includes working efficiently as a team with my fellow student ambassadors. I enjoy taking on duties within the school and ensuring a positive environment for studens in the academy. I love bringing our ideas to life and watching our team's hard work and organisation bring students together outside the classroom to build relationships. This year, I have developed more confidence and leadership, but more importantly our collective work has taught me a lot about teamwork. I look forward to continuing working with our team to bring the academy events and positive change that benefit the school community.
I have a strong ambition to achieve my academic goals while contributing positively to our school community. I study Psychology, Spanish and Chemistry whilst being a KS5 Student Ambassador, supporting events, guiding younger students, and helping represent the sixth form at key school activities. I enjoy the role because it’s helped me develop confidence, leadership, and teamwork by working closely with staff and students during open evenings, induction days, and ambassador events. This year, I’m excited to continue contributing to a welcoming Sixth Form environment and to make a meaningful impact to the school!
I aspire to become a successful lawyer I am currently studying Politics, Computer Science and History. As an ambassador, I am a voice for my Sixth Form form peers while also helping other students through duties and representation to the wider community. What I enjoy most about being an ambassador is that it allows me to spread joy to my peers, giving them a great student experience and taking their opinions and feedback into account. Furthermore, this role has helped me develop my team work and cooperation skills to enable me to work more efficiently in a group. As student ambassadors, we have become a group of friends who help each other to make positive change!
I study History, Fine Art, and Psychology, with the goal of becoming a lawyer in the future. As a KS5 Student Ambassador, my role has involved acting as the voice of Sixth Form students, helping to represent student opinions and ideas. Through this role, I have developed key skills including teamwork, leadership, collaboration, and managing responsibilities. This experience has helped me grow in confidence and better understand how to work with others. This year, I hope to help create more inclusive and engaging events which strengthen our sixth form community!
I am a year 12 student aiming to work in the client facing side of the asset management sector studying Mathematics, Geography, and Economics. Alongside my subjects, I love being a Student Ambassador because it is rewarding to meet new people and seeing people build closer friendships and connections. This has helped to make the whole school a more enjoyable and fulfilling experience for everyone here which is my main goal as a Student Ambassador. The role has helped me develop my organisation and communication skills which I hope to use in my future career choice.
I am an aspiring corporate lawyer and I study Sociology, History, and English Literature. As a KS5 Ambassador, I act as a voice for my sixth form peers and create an environment that prioritises community and enrichment for every student. What I enjoy most about the role is being able to make possible tangible differences in the student experience for KS5 students and lower school students. I have felt a true growth in my leadership and team collaboration skills since joining this role. This year, I am looking forward to leaving a lasting and significant impact on this school that positively remains even after I have left the school.
I'm a Student ambassador studying Art, Psychology, and Health and Social Care. My interest in becoming a student ambassador has been fuelled by the idea of bringing our sixth form together, year 12 and 13 alike. Our goal is to create a positive environment for every student by listening to their views, supporting them, fundraising and uniting everyone. My involvement in being an ambassador has helped me develop my teamwork skills as well as raise my confidence and I am looking forward to many more opportunities where I can showcase my skills to create an environment where everyone feels represented.
