In Year 10, students begin to see how enterprise shapes the world around them—exploring business purpose, entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, operations and people management while learning to analyse risk, reward and decision-making in real contexts. They develop confidence through case studies, quantitative analysis and engagement with real organisations and entrepreneurs, building a secure understanding of how businesses operate and influence society.

By Year 11, this knowledge becomes sharper and more strategic as students evaluate financial performance, global influences, ethics, sustainability and the interconnected nature of business functions, applying evidence with precision in preparation for GCSE success and informed future choices.

At Key Stage 5, students think like leaders—analysing strategy, markets, operations, finance and organisational culture, before exploring innovation, globalisation and strategic change in Year 13. They leave as analytical, resilient and socially aware decision-makers, ready for university, entrepreneurship and influential careers in a dynamic global economy.
